Cancellation Policy – Simple and Fair

This cancellation policy applies to bookings made with Linköping Punkt Taxi AB (company reg. no. 559348-6425) under the brand Taxi Point. The purpose is to provide clear and reasonable rules for both you as a customer and for our drivers.
1. Types of bookings
- Immediate ride / “as soon as possible”: the car is dispatched as soon as a driver is available.
- Pre-booked ride: a trip booked for a specific time in the future.
2. Cancellation of a pre-booked ride
For pre-booked rides, the following applies as a general rule:
- More than 60 minutes before the scheduled time: cancellation is free of charge.
- 15–60 minutes before the scheduled time: we may charge a cancellation fee corresponding to 50 % of the estimated trip price.
- Less than 15 minutes before the scheduled time or a no-show: we may charge up to 100 % of the estimated trip price.
Exceptions may be made for special reasons (e.g., illness, major traffic disruption) after an individual assessment.
3. Cancellation of an immediate ride
- Before a driver has been assigned or has left their position: cancellation is normally free of charge.
- When the driver is on the way to the pickup address: we may charge a fee corresponding to a short trip minimum fare and any waiting time.
- When the driver has arrived at the pickup address: if the customer is not present or cannot be reached within a reasonable time, the trip may be charged as a minimum trip, including waiting time.
4. No-show
If the driver arrives at the pickup location at the agreed time and the customer does not show up and cannot be reached on the provided phone number, the booking may be marked as a no-show. In such cases, we may charge:
- the minimum fare according to the current price list, and
- any waiting time beyond the included/ agreed waiting time.
5. Cancellation by us
In exceptional cases, we may need to cancel a trip—for example due to extreme weather, a traffic accident, vehicle breakdown, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you provided. In such cases, no fee applies and any prepayment is refunded according to the refund policy.
6. How to cancel
- Via a link or function provided in SMS/app (if available).
- Via our online booking at www.linkoping.taxi, if a cancellation option is shown for your specific trip.
- By calling 013 328 95 95 and stating your booking reference or name.
7. Disputes and interpretation
This cancellation policy is part of our general terms and conditions. In case of disputes or ambiguity, the policy is interpreted in light of applicable consumer law and a reasonableness assessment. Swedish law applies.
